Our Privacy Promises
24-Hour Deletion
All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 24 hours. No exceptions, no manual intervention required.
No AI Training
We never use your uploaded content to train AI models. Your media remains yours—period.
Secure Processing
Files are processed in isolated environments and transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.3).
What We Collect
Uploaded Media: Videos and images you submit for analysis. These are processed for detection and deleted within 24 hours.
URL Submissions: When you paste a video URL, we download the content temporarily for analysis. Results may be cached for 24 hours to reduce redundant processing.
Basic Analytics: We collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, feature usage) using privacy-respecting tools like Plausible Analytics. No personal identifiers are captured.
Account Data (Optional): If you create an account, we store your email address for authentication and communication. You can delete your account at any time.
How We Use Your Data

Research & Model Improvement
VeriVid is committed to advancing the state of deepfake detection. We may use anonymized video frames and analysis scores to train and improve our detection models ("Teacher-Student" learning).
All personal identifiers are removed before data is added to our research dataset. Your data is never sold to third parties.
Third-Party Services
VeriVid uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Enterprise AI Visual Analysis: We use top-tier enterprise AI providers for visual detection. Data is processed securely in isolated containers and not retained by providers.
- Vercel: For frontend hosting. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
- Hugging Face: For backend processing infrastructure.
- Google Analytics & Plausible: Privacy-focused analytics to improve platform performance.
